Duct cleaners
Anyone here familiar with any companies here that do duct cleaning, and how much they normally charge about? Also do they normally cam the vents and record? I'd be curious to see just how nasty the main ones are.
I'm thinking of getting mine cleaned up. I have poor air flow and I think I know why. I shoved a cam down one that runs straight and it's quite nasty in there and the damper is clogged all on one side. With the temp lately it would probably be wise to get my hvac going at peak performance.

 There are several places that do duct cleaning, give them a call and report back.

I spoke with Hi-Pro Installations and they normally avoid doing it in winter but they will try to fit me in later this month if the weather is not too cold. It's hard on the equipment to do it when it's -30's.
This is the "before" picture of one of the ducts:
Notice at the far end the damper has one side full of dust. That's one giant dust bunny! I can't cam all of them, but that one happens to be straight to the bigger duct so I get a good view of the damper.
