I thought they were about to introduce it a few years ago and for some reason it got cancelled.

Eastlink delayed the launch until it found a reputable Apple Authorized Service Partner in Timmins.

Unlike Bell and Rogers they were not happy with telling it's Apple customers to "send away" their devices for repairs.

According to the radio the service will launch June 1st in Timmins.

Service did launch June 1st in Timmins. All the other phone companies give me the phone on a contract - Eastlink wants you to pay for the service and another $30 a month for the phone till its paid off. No thanks.

Your contract hides the price you are paying monthly for your phone... but you are paying for it... and guess what.. .if you go beyond the 2 years and don't change your phone, the price of your contract will stay the same and you'll keep paying for it.
