Post #1 by MontyMan » Thu Aug 14, 2008 10:14 pm

Not fitting in with the other sports? Try curling! It's for people of all ages! (I enjoy the childrens program ;) ) They use the latest in coaching techniques and it's a lot of fun! Registration is during the club's open house Oct. 18th-20th Don't have any curling equipment? No problem! you can get it at their pro shop!

That's probably the only Iron she's seen, unless of course she golfs. (Now that is a comment from a divorced man if I ever heard one and yes, I did Iron my own shirts in about half the time it would take the ex)

Golf is a lot like taxes - you drive hard to get to the green and end up in the hole.

2. Are you wearing your golfer's socks? The pair with a hole in one.

3. To golf at your favorite course may require a long drive.

4. Outdoor lights were put up at a golf course - for people who liked swinging nightclubs.

5. Golfers would wear wrinkled clothes if it weren't four irons.

6. The golfer guessed that his ball landed 20 feet off the fairway. Of course, that was just a rough estimate.

7. The musician in jail was anxiously awaiting his next release.

8. Any golfer will tell you the gospel truth. Your next shot always depends on the lie.

9. Two clock makers argued and got ticked off.

10. If you crash into a Volkswagen Golf, does that make a hole in one?
