Timmins Transit Re-Routes 37 & 38

#1

Post by JohnW » Mon Oct 20, 2014 8:57 am

Due to the rising water levels from the recent rain falls, Noman Street North of Lafleur Bridge to 634 Norman Street has been closed.

Expect delays on Route 37 & 38 due to this road closure.

Several stops will not be serviced during this time. The stops are:

Airport Road at McChesney Road both sides
Airport Road at Levis Foodland both sides
Airport Road at Pentecostal Church both sides

The nearest stops will be on Suzanne Street

Norman Street north of St. Dominique church to Lafleur bridge

The nearest stops will be on Park Ave

Thank you for your patience during this time.

um....why are stops on Airport road not being serviced? especially when the issue is on Norman street? This is kinda like the 16 not servicing stops on 101 in porcupine, when the problem is on father costello.

We are not sure but, there is a bus that has been going by straight up the Airport Road, would that be the #37/Riverside? Maybe that is the one not using those stops?

why can't the buses stop at levis? something is fishy on this, i can understand why the buses can't serve the stop at cedar meadows, but i can't see why the airport road stops can't be used.

I dunno, maybe contact Batman and have him look into it.

If it's not the "Melrose" bus, they probably don't want to hold up the other route.
