I notice sometimes there are no stop announcements - I thought this was required by law?

I thought so too. Has this been reported to Transit? Also, who do you report infractions to about accessibility and the lack thereof?

Oh. I figured maybe they just didn't know how to fix them or something. Usually can't understand them anyhow.

What I mean is, aren't those announcements being made for those that are visually-impaired? If nothing is said, how are those folks supposed to know where they are? I was under the impression this was required to make the service be accessible to some.

Not to mention that sometimes those buses are so dirty that you cannot see out the window to know where you are!
