risky this wasn't supposed to be touched, i created a "cloned" copy of the site on the server, with its own database. but for some reason, when i removed the modifications on the cloned copy to see if i could install the upgrade to the new version. when i went in too the "live" version all the modifications were deleted. Then I said ok reinstall them back and after reinstalling the second one... kablooey. couldn't even get a 404 page just a white page. its taken me all day and most of last night to get it semi working right. I was able to reload the last version, the one we were on, but you couldn't log in, so then i repaired the database, for some reason the db still had code for the new version in it, no matter how much i tried, i said frig it... our theme we were using was ported over to the new version so i downloaded that and the new phpbb and was able to log on, now i just have to figure this new **** out. nothings in the right order, they changed the backend, how themes work everything. this is amazing i got that mucked up database working the way i do now. for no please be patient as i work out the bugs in the css. ALSO if anyone knows CSS and can see and knows how to fix what i am trying to do. please place the code as a comment here thanks. that would save me time.
i can't find the right css entries to fix this. I am thinking !@$# the sidebar and put the ads somewhere else. there has to be options for something other than that damned sidebar which looks fine on desktops. and since no one has released a mobile theme yet. something has to give.
I'm for this...not needed IMO. It's not like you are making $$$ from those ads. Can't they be added to the top of the pages or something?

Actually, you know what? I prefer the sidebar on the left. The avatar stuff should be towards the left side of the posts though.

I'm not criticizing, I wouldn't know what the hell to do to work on this, only trying to give some ideas out to be helpful, guys. Just wanting to put that out there.

There theme works with sidebar on phone now... show work else where. now to switch the avatars to the left side and i am done.it took me reducing the forum side of the page from 80% down to 75% for it to fit right. congrats on 10k... took you long enough.

Lots of empty space between the sidebar and the posts. Maybe the 1920x1080 resolution doesn't help.

There are graphical "oddities" as some members have indicated and I'm being asked to approve my own posts and when I do I get a PM from ME saying my post was approved.

Seems I have temporary moderator powers.

By the time the dust clears I might be an Admin.

Who knows.

Good point. He's maintaining it by delegating it to someone else.
