Restaurants that serve pie in Timmins

Post by Loco101 » Tue Jun 17, 2014 8:59 pm

Does anybody know if any restaurants in Timmins serve pie? And I mean pie that they make themselves, not pre-made or pre-frozen.

The only place I can think of is the Esso Truck Stop but haven't been there in ages and don't know if they have it.

Next time your in SRF's Loco try out La Mère Mich'o in the Formula 21 building. You will not be disappointed. Everything is made from scratch from bread to pies and of course your meals. It's nothing to fancy inside but the food sure makes up for it. It's actually stealing many regular customers from Smoothy's Restaurant.

Thanks for letting me know Risky! Food sounds good if it is made from scratch. I haven't been to SRF in awhile because they took between there and Kap out of my assignment area for my job for the time being which really sucks. Hopefully I'll end up there in the Fall. I miss Smoothy's too, the Busted Gut which closed and the restaurants in Kap. (Sea Star, Le Kaprice, Thong La's, etc.)

No definitely not that! All I can say on here is that I work for a federal government agency. And not full time at the moment.

Where is Joe? Usually he knows all of the food/restaurant related answers.

What restaurants serve pie in Timmins?

Even Esso Truck Stop doesn't have them anymore? Does Christopher's have pie??

I thought maybe that one of the independent locally owned places in town would have it. Oh well, I guess it's a business opportunity for somebody.

of course you are gonna need a team of old ladies to bake pies all day for you. I'd try the food court at the Square. You just have to keep them supplied with coffee and scratch tickets.

A good banana cream pie would be great right now, if not Boston Cream. Don't tell my personal trainer.
