Ideas for April Fools Day?

Post #1 by Budgetman » Fri Feb 28, 2014 5:13 am

Last year I came up with the idea to rickroll you after converting the main page and a few subsequent pages saying John sold out to Microsoft.

This year we need to top that Idea. The best Idea posted here if doable will win and be featured this year on TalkTimmins.

If you're a fan of Rotisserie St-Hubert, then you'll be pleased to know that the popular chain will be opening a new location in Timmins in the very near future.

Lyne Chayer, vice-president of marketing with St-Hubert, said the company will definitely open a restaurant in the city, as soon as a few final details are ironed out.

"Yes, there will be a St-Hubert in Timmins this year," she commented. "We are currently looking for a franchise partner in the area and we need to purchase the land. Things are certainly looking good and we are pleased to be moving ahead."

The plan is to open a St-Hubert Express-type restaurant, which will include a 96-seat dining room as well as a drive-thru.

According to St-Hubert, the Express concept "caters to customers who want to enjoy the trademark quality, great taste and value of St-Hubert while they are on the go."

It states that the Express menu offers a pared-down selection of the items available at traditional restaurants to ensure quick service.

The restaurant will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and will create somewhere between 40 and 50 jobs in the area.

They will also be opening new locations in Ottawa, Burlington and Sudbury.
